Prime Minister Bromstad is the prime minister of the European Federation and one of the world leaders in the Earthen Union.[citation needed] He was the leader selected to officiate Emperor Kai's coronation.
He is described as "a fair-haired man with kind eyes." He is also described later on in Cinder as "a tall, blond man with broad shoulders." Cinder thought that "he looked more like a farmer than a politician."
